Currently taking applications for our 2021 Summer Residency

We’re looking for a sustainably motivated and passionate person to join Danny’s Farm. We currently attend 1 farmers’ market a week and you would be involved in all aspects of the running a profitable mixed species farm on just 5 acres including:

• Polyface style rotational grazing with cattle, laying chickens and ducks
• Growing vegetables and fruit
• Baking and food prep for markets
• Running the market stall
• Farm financials
• Regulatory aspects
• Marketing and social media

The first 3 months would be a WWOOF style arrangement where you work for food and board and then a longer-term partnership position can be arranged. The ideal person would be interested in setting up their own market garden operation here on the farm.

We have two polytunnels, irrigation infrastructure, a rotary hoe, seed trays and all of the other basic equipment ready to go. CURRENT WWOOF OPPORTUNITIES

Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms or Willing Workers on Organic Farms

We’ve hosted WWOOFERs from all over the world right from the very start of Danny’s Farm, and couldn’t have got this far without their invaluable help. Work is varied & changes depending on the season. We share meals and all cook together  using fresh, local & organic ingredients. Initial stay is 3-5 days then negotiable with longer stays preferred.
